Ipsy Glam Bag - January 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy?: ipsy is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

Look at that eyeshadow!!!

I hate every single thing about this bag.

Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo ($7.33) - For how much a bottle of this is, I really thought this was going to be the best dry shampoo ever. It comes out a little wet and made my hair look worse, not better. I didn't even give this away because it wasn't good enough.

Trust Fund Beauty Lipgasm Lip Scrub (Not for Sale) - Lip scrubs are becoming the new black eyeliner. I have a ton and really prefer my indie ones, so I passed this along.

theBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer ($2.65) - If this was just slightly less gold, it would have become my go-to highlight. Because I'm so pale, even just the slightest bit of gold is usually too much and this hit that mark. The formula was buttery and looked great on the skin, just not the right shade for me. Pass.

Dirty Little Secrets Cosmetics Eye Shadow (Sangria) ($12.00) - The formula, the shade, everything about this is perfect for me. I love it for deepening my outer v. It blends out nicely and applies easily. Instant keep.

F.A.R.A.H. Brushes Z-Tweeze Dual Ended Tweezer ($12.00) - I wasn't going to keep these but husband specifically requested to keep these. I still don't know why he likes them because they bug me, but he decided he liked them.

Swatches L-R: theBalm, Dirty Little Secrets Cosmetics.

This bag was valued at $33.98. I kept/liked two items that was more than double the cost so it was an instant win for me...although I would have been just as happy with just the DLS shadow.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
