ipsy Glam Bag - October 2017 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

What is ipsy?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy?: ipsy is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

This takes way more time to do than one would think.

I really loved this bag. If it were a bit larger, I would have kept it.

First Aid Beauty Ulta Repair Cream ($5.00) - I kinda get confused about FAB products. What is meant for the face and what's meant for the body? I think this is for both, and that's how I've been using it. It's a really good, slightly thicker face moisturizer. If it's meant for the body...whoops.

Smashbox Lid Primer (Light) ($5.25) - This was an instant keep, for once. I really like this lid primer and I like that they sent the right shade for once. It does help with making shadows pop, not quite like with a white base, but still relatively well.

Luna by Luna Cosmetics Lip Crayon (Elara) ($18.00) - This is SUPER pink on me. Instant pass. The formula is creamy but does transfer as this isn't a matte lippie. If it had been a better color, I definitely would have kept it.

DERMELECT Cosmeceuticals (Verdure Lush Hunter Green) ($14.00) - This is a pretty color but I'm not a fan of the formula. It has a smell that I can't place and just isn't what I like in a polish.

Not pictured because I suck at blogging: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (Perversion) ($14.00) - It's a black eyeliner.

Swatches L-R: Urban Decay Eye Pencil, Luna by Luna Lip Crayon.

This bag was valued at $56.25, but the majority of the items were busts for me. I know I'm picky but I'm tired of black eyeliners and super pink lip products.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
