Literary Lacquers - Grin Without a Cat Review

Hi, everyone! This is the review for one of the polishes from the Alice in Lacquerland collection by Literary Lacquers. If you're looking for the home post for this collection, click here! This collection was inspired by Alice in Wonderland (obviously) and has six total polishes plus the GWP one.

For a reminder on the details, the collection drops at noon MT on December 26th and if you make a $48 purchase between then and January 5th, you will receive the Gift with Purchase polish!

Now, Grin Without a Cat!

Grin Without a Cat is a cool purple multichrome that shifts to burgundy with pink to purple added shimmer.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

The shift in this polish is amazing. It's always there on the sides of your nails and when you move your hand around, you really get to see all of the goodness this polish has to offer.

The only thing that I was a little down about this polish on was that it did show all of the ridges and texture on my nails.

Matte nail macro.

I super love this polish with a matte top coat. The shift is still very much there but it's not as in-your-face of a polish like this!

Formula: Good, typical metallic/chromatic polish formula.
Coats for Opacity: Three coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal - slow.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
