TacPack - July

What is TacPack?: TacPack is a monthly subscription box full of gun gear for shooters and gun fanatics. Each month may include AR15 accessories, knives, EDC tools, targets, patches, shirts, cleaning materials, and stickers. Each box will include 3-7 pieces each month. You tell them your shirt size and glove size, so there's a slight hint at what might be in boxes!

How Much is TacPack?: The subscription is currently $49.95. You can also purchase past boxes when they are available and even items from the past boxes or specialty boxes.

Check out past TacPack reviews here.

If your husband/boyfriend/brother/father/male friend likes guns or EDC (everyday carry), this is the perfect box for them. It's a little on the pricier side of subscriptions, but the boxes almost always have a value of $100 or close to it. I feel like starting a subscription is a great way to give a fun Christmas present, and this one rocks! The December box is available now and the value is $112 with a $48 knife in it, so it's sure to please everyone!

Info card.

TacPack Smooth Operator Hat ($26.00) - Wow, overpriced hat. Husband said it wasn't really his style, and definitely not at this price point. He's very particular about hats (he's had the same one for over two years because he hasn't found another to compare) so this isn't an everyman opinion.

KeySmart Rugged ($30.00) - This was the hero item of the month for husband. He has been looking at KeySmart systems for a while so when it popped up in this box, he couldn't wait to use it. It's a really nice way to keep your keychain contained and not have your keys going everywhere. It's very easy to install and they come with extensions to hold up to 34 keys as well as a place for a USB, a quick detach, a place to hold a car key, and more!

Strike Industries Fore Grip ($23.00) - It's a fore grip, it's not anything special other than it's made nicely and add almost no weight to your rifle. I prefer a vertical grip, just to give myself a little more control.

Gerber Hook Knife ($13.00) - This is a limited use knife, more for getting out of a seatbelt or similar safety strap, but it's definitely handy if you are stuck in that situation. It has a keyring so it can go on your keys and have it there with you every day.

GBA Patch (Priceless) - I think this speaks for itself at this point. Patches are a great way to make your rifle bag or go bag unique and easy to distinguish your bag from someone else!

This box was valued at $92, which is almost double the cost. It wasn't the best box that we've received from TacPack, but it's still a really nice box. The KeySmart was definitely the best part of the box and has been used since the receiving of this box. Let me know what you thought of this box in the comments and if the man (or men) are getting this box!
