The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer - Polar Light Review

The Howling Boutique, a nail polish jewelry shop, has now created a nail polish line named Supermoon Lacquer. Get it, Howling, Supermoon? It's all a thing! I finally have the Ready to Launch Collection to show you guys! The full Ready to Launch collection (9 polishes) is available for a discounted $85 or each polish is available for $9-$11.

I will have the polishes each getting their own review at some point. I had a goal of doing it daily, but life happened. I just want to make sure each polish gets the appropriate attention! Today, I have Polar Light.

Ah, the dreaded green. I run from greens unless they are forest green or lean very teal, so this was a frightening endeavor for me.

Shown is two thick coats of Polar Light.

Polar Light is a light green scattered holographic with gold-to-green color shifting shimmer and blue-to-green iridescent microglitters.

My favorite part of this polish is how the blue reflects so much light and makes it look like such a unique polish!

This is a very true light green that looks slightly celery in some lighting. I honestly thought I would hate it and would just shrug it off as an extra polish for buying the full collection. Thankfully, I was wrong. This still isn't a polish I would wear 24/7, but I'm very excited about using it for nail art.

I really like how different this polish looks in different lighting, even in slight lighting changes. I did use a glossy top coat to add shine! The blue microglitters show up so much more when it's shiny!

Then, matte! Matte, you can see all of the unique pieces of this polish, and just how unique it really is.

This really shows the more celery side of this polish, which is actually really pretty.

Warning, Polar Light will stain if you do not use a base coat. Yes, I tested it to find out so I could inform if it did. Staining isn't a problem for me, I just wanted to share.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish! Do you like it better matte or glossy?
