Hautelook Lip Beauty Bag

The Hautelook Exclusive Lip Beauty Bag has been floating around on Hautelook for some time. It has been at varying prices, but finally reached a price I was willing to pay. The beginning of the month, they listed it for $10 and I snatched it up! (Note, Hautelook shipping is $5.95 but you can use one shipping cost for multiple items on sale in one order, which is what I did.) This was probably the final time it will be available, due to the cost being lowered so much.

The bag is super cute! It's a little small, but I can use it to keep my extra necessities as a grab bag.

The products. Some are definitely better than others, but they will all get use in one way or another.

Laura Geller Lipstick Sugared Maple ($18) - This is in a lovely color, but a little too nude for me. It is also 'marbled', which threw me off to begin with. The other shades on their site look more like me, but I'm not sure I want to buy yet another lipstick (especially an $18) one that will go in the pile with the other quarter used ones.

Swoon Lip Gloss Reusable Wand ($15) - This is an interesting concept, and I love it. I wish I could get pieces separated, though. Perhaps someone can explain to me how to get this contraption to work and I will be able to update my review.

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Flirty Kiss ($26.55) & Mirenesse Lip Bomb Siren Red ($35.10) - These are a great brand and great colors, but oh so expensive. Definitely worth the cost of the bag! They also came with a card explaining how to use them most effectively, and that the Glossy Kiss can be used also as a cheek color/stain, which I love. There is always room for a multi-functioning product in my makeup bag!

NYX Lip Liner Fruit Punch ($4.50) - I can definitely see myself using this. It is the perfect shade of pink, which I'm always on the lookout for!

Lord & Berry Shining Lipstick Scarlett ($16) - If there was ever a need for an explanation of the word 'scarlett', this would be it. It's exactly what I think of when I hear the word. It's very red, but will be very useful to layer to create the perfect color. I can definitely recommend this.

LORAC Lip Lustre Gloss Ruby ($15) - After looking this up, I want other colors as well. These are such pretty lip glosses with such great shimmer, very summery. This on will be going on my wishlist!

Crown Brush Lip Liner Brush ($1.94) - This will not be used more than a few times, likely, because it will end up getting ruined by some lip product. I am the worst about cleaning my brushes like I should and therefore, keep having to buy more. One of these days, I will grow up (hopefully) and be better about cleaning my brushes...one day.

Allegro Lip Gloss Case ($5?) - This is the average lip stick case, which is average. I do not know the exact price, so I'm guessing based on past experiences. I didn't know people still used these, though. I remember my grandmother using them and my mother when I was very young. Brings back memories, though.

In total, this bag was definitely worth the price. with a total of $137.84. I definitely recommend purchasing one of these if they pop back up again (I will be buying more for presents)!
